Fashion - Fantasy
This project was inspired by my interest in how a simple product can be made enticing via art and design. Since fairy tales are based on people's idea of the dream life, I wanted to set the product within a fairy tale, pursuading the consumer that fairy tales dont have to be just a fantasy. Using magical locations, stunning costumes and a selection of beautiful models, I created a series of fashion images based on fairy tale stories.

These images were based on the White Queen from 'The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe'. I wanted to capture the air of mystique, elegance and power demonstrated by the character in the story.

Dance Portraits
This was a small project which aimed to capture different dance styles from diferent eras. I wanted to encompass the feel of the dance with the setting and clothing styles of the era to create the mood of that dance form in one shot.
In this image I wanted to capture the jazzy, energetic style of tap dance inspired by Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, who dominated the black and white TV screens in the 1930's. Taken using Nikon D3100 DSLR Model - Rosie Turner
This style of dance emerged and was most prevalent in the 1990's and up to date. I wanted to create the feeling of freedom, and modernity of the 21st century, the casual clothing and grungy setting enhancing this mood.
Unlike the other shots, I used a long shutter speed for this image to create the feeling of fluidity and ghost-like elegance seen in classical ballet. The rich oak setting based on the origins of classical ballet in the Italian Renaissance era.
Contemporary ballet is a modern form of ballet, bending the rules of traditional ballet in many senses, clothing, setting and the freedom of choreography. In the two contemporary images I kept the classical point shoes whilst introducing modernity using non classical settings and dance positions.

Woodland Shoot
This shoot was a collaboration with film maker and photographer Frederick Jewson (See website below for details).The aim of this shoot was to blend the urban, city style dress with the rough and rural countryside.
